Becoming a Notary Public

To become a notary public or renew a commission, the Oklahoma Application for Notary Public Commission must be submitted to this office.  This process may be done online, by mail or in person.  Please allow approximately 2 weeks to process applications by mail.  The application fee is $25.00.  Applications submitted in person can be processed while you wait for an additional $25.00.

After Your Commission Has Been Issued

Notary Public Commissions are valid for 4 years.  Upon receipt of a commission, please review carefully to ensure that all information is correct.  The issue date and the commission number are required for the $1,000.00 surety bond.
